Video Tips for Tree Service Companies

Picture
I’m going to talk to you about one of the most powerful ways of building a connection with your customer base: video. This is something we are very fond of ourselves, as we are able to create videos and have them available on your website. It is one of the most authentic ways for you to connect with the audience. When they see someone on camera, it actually gives them the chance to have a relationship with a real person, not an imaginary person on the screen, so it is going to be nothing other than benefits.
Think of the biggest companies that you know of and you will see that there is some famous face behind it:
  • Berkshire Hathaway –> Warren Buffet & Charlie Munger
  • McDonald’s –> Ray Kroc
  • Facebook –> Mark Zuckerburg
  • Apple —> Steve Jobs
  • Walmart –> Sam Walton
  • Amazon –> Jeff Bezos
When you think of these household names, you have a face in your mind of people that you may actually want to know. You associate the companies with them, because, as humans, we recognize with people. What is the first thing you look for when you see a human walking down the street?
The face.
What is the first thing you look for when you see a picture taken?
Your face.
It is not natural to bond with 3rd party companies; however, we will bind with people, similar to how celebrities attach themselves to products. Here are some examples:
  • Tai Lopez –> Knowledge Society
  • Beyonce –> Coca Cola
  • Dr. Dre –> Beats
Now that we established the importance of having a video that resonates with your customers, let us speak about the things you should incorporate into your videos. You should start off with a hook or a theme song or something in order to get the audience to listen to you. This hook or theme song should be correlated to why they should be interested in hearing what you have to say in the first place.
For example, since you are in the tree care space, why you wish to have a tree service provider in mind to serve you if things go bad. For example, how important would you find it when you saw an advertisement of a dental assistant explaining how plaque is able to build up even when you brush your teeth; therefore, you need to at least have a regular check up every 6 months? Would you find that information useful? We would, and it would make us wish to watch the rest of the advertisement. After the advertisement ends, I would be much more inclined to go to the dentist for a 10% discounted consultation. Even if I do not go, I will be able to take the information to another dentist and may get check ups on my own, which still benefits the me. In the end, the consumer wins, which is what you want correct?

However, when you constantly put yourself out there, provide educational value, and are genuine rather than robotic, you will resonate with your audience and have them personalize themselves with you. Stay authentic, be genuine, use your real voice, and provide a real service to your customer. It pays off much more than you believe.
